You have probably heard of the Chakra’s before but are still a bit confused as to what they are or do exactly…
What is a Chakra
The word Chakra is a Sanskrit word, the direct translation from Hindi is “wheel of spinning energy”. In most instances we refer to the main 7 Chakra’s that run directly through our body (see image) although there are many more that are exterior to us.
Simply put, the Chakra’s are the main energy centres that connect physical and spiritual as they regulate the flow of energy within and around our body.
It is quite normal for our Chakra’s to become blocked on occasion due to our journey in life, for example; Stress, emotional or physical problems. If the energy is not cleared so it can flow it can create further problems such as physical illness and discomfort or a feeling of mental or emotional imbalance.
Becoming aware of your Chakra’s puts you in control as it will allow you to learn to clear blockages as they come up.
Remember that although you may have an unbalanced/blocked Chakra that this is not necessarily something to be alarmed about, balance can be attained through meditation or by seeking a clearing from an energy healer.
