“Well I’ve tried it before and it doesn’t work, I really can’t meditate!”
It’s probably something that you’ve heard from a friend, or it may be something you thought or heard yourself saying.
When I hear something like that, I feel quite worried that this person hasn’t been able to enjoy and benefit from what Meditation truly has to offer – you really are missing out on something that is life changing!
There are also many different styles of meditation and the way you experience it will vary the outcome. If you have only tried a meditation class once or twice and you didn’t feel quite connected to what you were doing it may simply mean the style wasn’t right for.
